A new cableway will replace the original gondola for four people OTUPNÉ - BRHLISKÁ called also an „egg" (Tatrapoma, 1983), marked as M, which capacity was 1200 people per hour and its sloping length of 1602m.

 

The new gondola :

- twice as big transport capacity

- 358 m longer

- the down station  next to the hotel Grand

- 65 cabins for 8 passenger

- modern design, black frames and orange window panes

- a unique colour combination

The first cabins have arrived at Jasná on 30^th Oct.

A part of the construction project are also:

 

Extension of the ski slope No 10 VRBICKÁ by 890 m and its widening in the upper part

- the ski slope will end at the bottom station of the cableway, in front of the hotel Grand
- as the new ski slope will cross the car road a tunnel for cars has been built
- the resorts Biela Púť and Otupné will be inerconnected in the bottom part of the ski slopes Biela Púť and Vrbická (a new traverse from Biela Púť to Vrbická)

 

NEW PART OF SKI SLOPE Vrbická

- from the traverse No 19 Vrbická and its extending, equipped with snowmaking facility
- it will bypass a difficult part - a steep drop off on the ski slope Vrbická
  (it has been a problem to less experienced skiers)

Construction of a new snow-making facility in the resort Otupné

- along the ski slope a new snowing system comprising 35 snowing canons will be built

- completion of the snow-making facility for the entire ski slope Vrbická

- construction of the snow-making facility for the new part of ski slope
