WE REACHED THE SLOVAK RECORD IN JASNÁ!!!
Those tourists who decided to spend the first August Sunday in the mountains did well. Up in the mountains, near the second highest mountain of the Low Tatras the wind was blowing and so it was not so sweltering there as in the foothill area, so many visitors contributed to creating the Slovak record...
At the altitude of 1670m a.s.l. in Luková 212 officially registered, not only children, succeeded in making the largest hand-painted picture - 68m² of the region LIPTOV where the canvas was spread in the mountainious area.
The original size was 54 m², but the final size of the canvas was of respectable 68m².
At the beginning it was difficult to outstrip the adult participants at their work, as they laid foundations for the landscape of many colours...
Even the symbols of Jasná were not missing - the sun and a lot of animals, trees, houses and various plants.
Jasná Nízke Tatry captivated on this day apart from its marvellous fairy-tale educational mountain path Red Riding Hood / Hoodwinked with its record which has in Slovakia no paralell.
The youngest painter was born in 2008 and the oldest participant in 1940.
Jasná thanks to its fantastic atmosphere which was completed by nice prizes, presents for everybody and visitors' good mood showed to Slovakia an original painting in an even more original surroundings...
Of course, the beautiful painting will not be covered with dust. It can be seen until the end of the summer season near the 6-chair cableway-boarding station in Záhradky. You will be able to see it even directly from the cableway. The summer season in Jasná and the educational path Karkulka will be open until 15th September 2009.

Jasná succeeded not only in creating a record in painting. It made even another record - the attendance record - on the first August Sunday the most visitors visited Jasná in this summer season.
