CHOPOK NORTH -CAVES

DEMÄNOVSKÁ CAVE SLOBODY is the most cave in Slovakia. The cave was discovered in 1921. Length is 8,126 m.
Visitors catch a massive karst waterfalls, stalagmites, clear lakes and charming play of colors. Cave through the underground flow of the river Demänovky that stems back under the main Low Tatras. The entrance to the cave is located at an altitude of 870 m.

DEMÄNOVSKÁ ICE CAVE is known for many years. The cave is first made available in the years 1880 to 1885. Length is 1,750 m. Rich ice filling at the bottom of the cave. Represented the floor ice, ice pillars, stalactites and stalagmites. There have found the bones of cave bear that in the first half of the 18th century considered dragon, this is known as the Cave and Dragon's cave.
