Both sides of Chopok have been connected by a 2 seated cable car from the end of the 50ties till end of the 90ties of the last century. The skiers had been siting on open seats aside, not in the ride direction. The restaurant; better said two had become from the former lower cable car station: Self service RESTAURANT LUKOVA with fast service and the second one a la carte restaurant VON ROLL.

VON ROLL is also a mountain museum beside a great cuisine. The walls are piped with pictures from the skiing history and the original cable way system was used as the main architectural part of the interior. The place looks luxurious and original; the waiters are serving in ties. The great menu card offer will also delight the taste of real food lovers...
