FAQ – SMART GUARANTEE

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO COMPENSATE SMART SEASON PASS HOLDERS IF THEY CANNOT USE THEIR PASSES TO THE FULLEST DUE TO VARIOUS REASONS?

It’s very important for us to offer you and all Smart Season Pass holders unforgettable moments and adventures in our ski resorts. The present-day COVID-19 situation was one of the reasons why we have created something new to make you feel safer and more comfortable when deciding whether to buy a Smart Season Pass. The Smart Guarantee introduces new compensation rules for the 2020/21 winter season and applies to cases caused by state regulations (e.g. anti-COVID-19 restrictions), closure of state borders, natural catastrophes, long-term illnesses, injuries, studying or working abroad, pregnancy and other circumstances.*

WHAT IF I BUY A SMART SEASON PASS AND CANNOT USE IT DUE TO A FORCE MAJEURE EVENT?

You will be returned the full purchase price in the form of credit to your GOPASS account.

WHAT IF I BUY A SMART SEASON PASS AND CANNOT SKI DUE TO SERIOUS SUBJECTIVE REASONS?

If you cannot use your Smart Season Pass due to serious subjective reasons* and don’t do it even once, there are two options: refund of the full purchase price in the form of credit to your GOPASS account, or transfer of your season pass to another person of your choice. If you ski with your Smart Season Pass for 1 or more days, the Smart Guarantee will enable you to transfer your Smart Season Pass to another person.

WHAT IF STATE BORDERS STAY CLOSED AND I CANNOT SKI IN ALL COUNTRIES WHERE MY PREMIUM SMART SEASON PASS IS VALID?

In such case, the Smart Guarantee will compensate you in the form of 1-day ski passes that can be used by any other person. One closed country will be compensated with 1 ski pass, two closed countries with 2 ski passes, three closed countries with 3 ski passes. The 1-day ski passes can be used in any opened ski resort where PREMIUM Smart Season Passes are valid.

WHAT IF SKI RESORTS ARE CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19 DURING THE SEASON?

If any resort(s) is/are closed due to Covid-19 during the 2020/21 season, Smart Season Pass holders will be compensated correspondingly.
