Adventurous travelling by cable cars will be full of illusions and magic in the August evening. There will be a witch in the Castle Rotunda to welcome small and big visitors and offer them unprecedented experiences in the form of magic, tricks, mysteries and surprises. You´ll enjoy wandering through mysterious tasks and little successful magicians will be given a gift which they´ve made themselves in a workshop at Restaurant Rotunda (2,004 m asl.).
Dragon Demián will turn into a mysterious magician and will spit fire and dust more than ever before. It´ll be an amazing evening at Restaurant Rotunda (2,004 m asl.) full of mysteries, dust arising from chemical reactions, steam evaporating from a magic potion, and unique artistic performances.
Take a cable car from the southern or northern side of Mt Chopok in the evening and head for typical Liptov´s traditions. The most famous shepherds Maťko and Kubko will welcome you at Restaurant Rotunda (2004 m asl.) with a number of games and tasks for small and big visitors. They will teach you how to drive or milk sheep, you´ll search for the brigand treasure, you´ll learn typical Liptov crafts, and every visitor will attend a School of Liptov Dialect. Of course, everything under the supervision of the friendly Dragon Demián, the legendary guide of Demänovská Valley, who will shoot out fire and dust for joy during the Dragon Nights.
At Rotunda Restaurant (2,004 m asl.) you can taste gastronomic specialties from a typical Liptov cuisine such as „bryndzové halušky“ (dumplings with a kind of sweet cheese), „pečené buchty“ (a kind of stuffed sponge cake) or „chlieb s masťou a cibuľou“ (bread with lard and onion).
