The ski resort of Jasná Nízke Tatry was granted 5 prestigious ´Internationaler skiareatest´ quality awards in following categories: “Breakthrough of the year 2014”, “The most popular mountain restaurant”, “Cable car operator of the year 2014”, “The best marketing” and “International mark of ski slope quality”. And thus the Slovak resort Jasná Nízke Tatry has been catapulted into the limelight of strong competition of 35 alpine resorts.

„Internationales Pistengütesiegel“ was another category added to the evaluated categories in 2006. The category is focused on grooming of ski slopes, insurance, the navigation system and safety on the slopes. This quality label is valid for three years. It can be prolonged afterwards but the respective resort has to complete the test of quality again.

Von Roll Restaurant Luková was given a gold medal in the prestigious test and was awarded as the only mountain restaurant. It has received the high rating mainly for its original interior and overall atmosphere but also for high quality of meals, wines and friendly staff.

Ing. Bohuš Hlavatý, CEO of Tatry mountain resorts, a.s. was pronounced the “Person of the year”. Ernst Brandstätter from Bergbahnen Flachau and Karl Schmidhofer from Murtal Seilbahnen Kreischberg were awarded in this category as well.
The best marketing
The resort of Jasná Nízke Tatry was given a gold medal in the category of “The best marketing”. Along with the resorts of Flachau and Wagrain it was ranked first place. This category was focused on visual and content-based communication of resorts, good arrangement and visual attractiveness of resorts´ websites, availability of promotion materials for visitors and visibility of resorts on the European ski market.
