Jasná is located in a beautiful Slovak locality at the foot of Mt Kriváň, in the picturesque region of Liptov.

And after active relaxation, the thermal spring water parks of Tatralandia and Bešeňová are ideal for spending some peaceful moments.
Visitors interested in history will certainly enjoy their time visiting castles such as Likava, Liptov Old Castle and a castle in the town of Liptovský Hrádok, as well as the Celtic settlement Havránok above the Liptovská Mara water reservoir, and the village of Vlkolínec which is preserved by UNESCO due to its typical architecture. The most sought-after places are also the Museum of Liptov Village in Pribylina, a wooden articular church in the village of Svätý Kríž, The Museum of Nature Protection and Speleology, The Museum of Juraj Jánošík, The House of Photography and the Liptov Museum along with the Shepherd Museum which is unique within Europe.
